JETHAVANARAMA VIHARAYA (DHARMAYAI OBAI)

Since our inception in 2017, the monastery has been a sanctuary for people from all walks of life who seek solace from the vicissitudes of life. Receiving a weekly footfall of over 2,000 local and international visitors, we take immense pleasure in serving them through our extensive programmes conducted at the monastery, at select external venues and via our online outlets.

We are home to a growing community of over one hundred monks and a similar number of male Anagarikas, and female Anagarikas based at our sister monastery a short distance away from the main campus. An incredibly rewarding culture of camaraderie between our people, those we serve, and those who support our efforts is our pride, and it enables us to deliver a variety of social healing programmes to many thousands of men, women, and children around the world

None of this would be possible without the generous support we are so grateful to receive from all who resonate with our ethos. We work diligently to extend our services to many more deserving people all over the world, and consider it a privilege to receive your partnership and support as we welcome you to join our journey to freedom and beyond.
